Overview

ipwhois.io resolves an IP address to rich location and network data — country, region, city, coordinates, timezone, ISP, organization, ASN, and connection type — with a single keyless GET. CORS-enabled and free for light use.

Authentication

None — keyless (a free key raises the rate limit).

Rate Limits & Notes

• Free tier: ~10,000 requests/month keyless (about 1 req/5s sustained); registering a free key raises it.
• Response is flat JSON with country/region/city/coordinates, plus connection (ISP/ASN), timezone, and security (threat) info.
• HTTPS is supported — use it.
