JSONbin.io

Overview

JSONbin.io is a free JSON storage service — store, read, update, and delete JSON documents with a REST API, plus collection support. A key is required (requests without one return 404, verified) — it’s a handy “instant backend” for prototypes and small tools.

Quick Start

Create a bin (replace YOUR_KEY):

Authentication

• Register at jsonbin.io → your Master Key (in the dashboard).
• Send it as the X-Master-Key header (missing key → 404, verified).
• Collection API (/v3/c) organizes bins into groups.

Rate Limits & Notes

• Free tier: limited reads/writes per day (check the dashboard — modest); paid plans scale.
• Bins are JSON documents (max size on free tier ~small KBs — check current limits).
• The X-Master-Key grants full access — X-Collection-Id scopes to a collection.
• Great for config storage, quick mock backends, and hobby projects.
